There is a close relationship between light and food. That uncontrollable need, that intense desire to savor a cocktail, an ice cream, a sugary treat, or healthy nourishment, does not only respond to a primary necessity: within it lies an objective aspiration for well-being.
When we choose a lamp, we do so not only to meet the need for functional light, technically calibrated to enhance spaces. In that moment, there also arises the desire for emotional “nourishment” that satisfies, through suggestions, situations, emotions…
It is something that pertains to the psychic and sensory sphere. An aspect to which Karman has always paid great attention, and this year, has decided to celebrate the union of light and food by dedicating to it a series of introductory images for the new 2025 collections.
